For body and soul: gastronomic offers in Waldidylle and surroundings
Waldidylle does not only offer good food and refreshments for hikers but also splendid opportunities for family gatherings, parties and vacationing in the heart of nature. The mountain restaurant „Zugspitze zur singenden Wirtin„ (or “Zugspitze of our singing landlady”) and the hotel „Falkenhorst“ look forward to welcoming you as their guests.
Nevertheless, in the immediate surroundings there is an extensive gastronomic offer. We recommend to venture the way after deer jump ( "Ladenmühle" ) beside many good restaurants in Oberbärenburg also once . As a rule good-middle-class and plain fare is offered. Most houses also have courts for vegetarians in the program, child servings are passed on inquiry. The family father will decide food with a real "Altenberger" herb liqueur - with the locals a "must-be" and almost already cult drink!
